At Signal Group, we believe that doing well as a company also means being responsible.

Having been in financial publishing and direct marketing for over 35 years, there is no telling the number of trees (paper), oil and water (inks and shipping), metal and water (plating production), and air that we have expended in helping our clients succeed.

As a result, we have come to realize we need to be more conscious of how we use—and replenish—our natural resources. We do this in one of three ways. The first two are elected by our clients.

In conjunction with Colorado-based Plant-It 2020, a charitable organization founded by John Denver, or The Nature Conservancy, for every client who joins us, we offer the choice of:

• Planting 50 trees through the efforts of Plant-It 2020!, or
• Dedicating an acre of land in an environmentally sensitive area in cooperation with The Nature Conservancy

Through Plant-It 2020! trees are planted in the United States in these states: CA CO FL GA NY OH RI TN VT WA WI. We repeat this planting commitment each year on our anniversary date with a client for as long as they remain with us.

Through The Nature Conservancy, we will make a contribution to dedicate an acre of land in one of these four environmentally sensitive US areas: the Appalachian or Rocky Mountain Forest Regions, the Southern Coastal Forests or the Californias. Aside from in-office measures we take daily, we are also living out this mission through our newest subsidiary, Mark4eMedia. Mark4 is devoted exclusively to electronic, direct-to-customer e-marketing communication services which place virtually no burdens on our environment.

These activities on our part are very small when compared with the potential collective impact we may have by sharing information about these organizations. Of course, your spreading the word also helps!
